* Determine what it is you really don’t like.
* Hold regular meetings and think about your manager’s career goals as well as your own.
* Don’t be afraid to let the manager know about your accomplishments.
* Look at yourself to see if you can be more flexible.
* Get out of the situation if it comes to that.
