I apologize for the relative silence. I’ve been busy setting up two new blogs for people who contacted me asking to host for them, in addition to a new brand identity for some of the other random things I do online. This is, of course, on top of work and classwork.
The two blogs are very new and haven’t been publicizing, but the authors are fine with me posting about them.
P.S. 76 is about education, primarily the public school system. It’s written by Max Liederman. I particularly like the “Wall of Shame” category.
A. Morgan Reid is running a blog called Both Sides where he intends on moderating online debates about popular issues which will be open to comments. Hopefully these sites will be able to attract some visitors.
I am using WordPress to manage these websites because I have wanted to get to know the software. In general I like it so far. The only compaint I have is with the template engine; it is not laid out in a straight-forward way like the rest of the software.

I decided to go with Gila because it looked like it would be easy to modify in order to expand the text area. I wanted the text to fill the full browser window. It was… not quite as easy as it looked. (Damn standards-compliant themes—standards-compliant no longer.)
