The editors of CareerJournal.com (a division of the Wall Street Journal) surveyed themselves to determine the ten best and ten worst jobs. Their specifications:
… Not in terms of glamour — or just in terms of salary — but in terms of things such as job security, emotional stress and basic physical safety.
The editors determined the best jobs are accountant, actuary [profile], and bank officer while the worst are construction worker, cowboy [profile], and dancer. These results definitely sound like they were determined by editors of a financial newspaper. Their point of view is probably not the same as that of the “general public.”
Other “best jobs” of interest are financial planner and web site manager.
