Once again, Consumerism Commentary was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal. Welcome to any new readers! (Of course, it would have been helpful if the online article contained hyperlinks to all the websites mentioned.)
Updates have been a little slow over the past seven days as I had been on vacation and am now trying to catch up with work in the office and work for my latest class, Finance for Managerial Decision Making, not to mention all of the latest posts on my favorite personal-finance blogs.
Here’s a quick tour of Consumerism Commentary. I am called Flexo, and I introduce myself and this website here. You may wish to start with the Best of Consumerism Commentary, although some recent entries that may qualify aren’t included. For that reason, the archives can be a good resource.
My latest personal balance sheet is here, so you can play along as I track my (slow) progress. I also maintain a table of the latest online checking and savings rates, which I try to keep up-to-date as competitive banks raise their interest rates.
Also, you might find the Carnival of Personal Finance to be one of the best ways to discover great articles and great blogs covering personal finance.

I must thank them for that. Well, we know they’re interested in financial blogs. Perhaps if they’re also interested in bloggers they’ll offer me a job.
