Millionaire at Twenty-Four

CNN, in its Millionaires in the Making series, is featuring a story about Justin D’Angelo, who earns $150,000 working about an hour a day, selling products through a website. He uses drop shippers who handle the inventory and shipping, while he maintains the web interface and markets the products.

He got involved in a range of online activities—eBay, PayPal and online stock trading—when they were in their infancy. But his goal was to make $100,000 a year. “Without working 9 to 5, I knew I had to do something to get ahead as quickly as possible,” he said.

He found a niche through trial and error on ebay and once he found it, he exploited it to his benefit and took the right steps to market it (including getting himself a mention as a millionaire in the making which certainly won’t hurt). Kudos to him.

Wow, $150k in profits and not just gross. Not bad for a semi-professional website front that uses a third-party website for credit card payments. Niche marketing is where it’s at!

Millionaire in the making? Probably not the way he spends….He’ll use all his discretionary money up and then some. Just because he has a high net worth doesn’t mean this translates into millionaire to be.

Sounds great to me, especially since I’ve seen how easy it is to lose money online if you don’t know what you’re doing.
