HOWTO Excessively Spoil Your Kids, Part 2

Last year, I wrote about pricey gifts available for children of those with money to burn. Now that we’re back in the holiday season, I noticed a new article from CNN Money with the latest updates for the upscale gift shopper.

While last year’s article mentioned the most expensive toys, this year’s list seems comparatively reasonable. Here are the highlights:

* Life-sized stuffed reindeer: $1,600
* Crystal Pez dispenser: $175
* Backyard ice rink: $229

Be sure to check out the slideshow that contains some photos of the much higher-priced items.

You can rent FAO Schwarz for a kid’s sleepover party, where the lucky child and his or her guests have full run of the store for 11 hours, for only $25,000.

Remember the piano keys that Tom Hanks danced on in Big? Well, that toy costs $250,000. I can’t wait to have children.
