Open An Account At Every Bank

If you have a small business and you take a number of personal checks from the local community, you might benefit from this advice from Consumerist: simply open up business checking accounts in as many area banks as possible. This way you can take every customer’s check to his or her own bank — also your bank — for immediate cash. You won’t have to worry about NSF fees or bounced checks.

You will likely begin to run up account maintenance fees by spreading the business funds thinly. It could turn out to be a cost saver depending on the situation and the customers.
