Mine's two years old and has only dropped a few thousand in value. Of course, the big drop will probably be with year three, but it's been extremely hassle-free and saves me a TON on gas, especially compared to my dad's Hummer. He sells Hummers for a living, so he was a little disappointed when I went to the exact opposite of the car size spectrum. That's okay, I don't mind paying less for gas and being able to see other cars. And MINIs keep their resale value better than many cars, too!
