Perhaps It Was Gold-Plated

Shatner's Kidney Stone

If you had $25,000 to spare, you could have purchased William Shatner’s kidney stone. William Shatner was Captain Kirk on the original Star Trek, and he also plays a character in some show about a law firm in Boston. Most notably to me, with the help of Ben Folds, Shatner released a fantastic album called Has Been.

Unfortunately, my girlfriend heard Garrison Keillor on the radio the other day and confused the voice of the radio show host with that of the other entertainer. I don’t think anyone would pay $25,000 for Keillor’s kidney stone, but you never know. Perhaps there are some fanatics that religiously attend A Prairie Home Companion conventions.

The Shat is the shiznit…LOVE “Has Been”! That stone is huge…he must have been hurting something fierce. Still…25k? (or ANY money at all?) pretty crazy.
