Today Was My Last Day

by Flexo on April 12, 2006

in Career and Work

My desk has been cleared and my responsibilities have been delegated upward to my supervisor, as today is my last day in my current position. Tomorrow morning, I’ll board a JetBlue flight from JFK International Airport and head to California with my girlfriend.

When I return next Sunday, I’ll be preparing for Monday’s work in a new office closer to my home, in another department within the company.

You might not hear more from me for a few days. Unfortunately, I still have to do school work while on vacation, so I will have to be online. I’m sure I won’t be able to resist checking up on the blogs.

Welcome to California. You sure won’t miss the winters on the east coast. By the way, when it snows in California, you need snow chains (in the mountains). For some reason, when I asked whether snow chains were required in Cleveland… everyone laughed at me.
