Going to a top 10 MBA program will get you a starting salary in the low 6 figures. Also, if you work for a consulting firm or in investment banking, given the number of hours you work there, if you break it down to an hourly rate, it's lower than you think...As for companies, I think working at Wal-Mart would be interesting, since their supply chain management is legendary. What would be more interesting would be to check back with the same subjects to find out if their year 1 and year 5 predictions end up being correct.
