Here are some links from the more mainstream media that interested me today.
- Invest in your looks, from MSN Money. Stomach stapling pays off, but laser eye correction may not…
- Forget the raise, give me flexible hours, from Fortune Magainze.
- How to know when you’re ready to buy (your first house), from Kiplinger’s Personal Finance. Timing doesn’t matter, the decision should be independent of market conditions…
- In their 20s, trading millions, from Reuters. It’s Trader Monthly’s “30 Under 30 List,” highlighting superstar young stock traders. All these kids should have blogs and share their stories. I’d read.

Just an FYI – I had Laser Surgery. I found it to be worth its weight in gold even without the financial savings. The last year prior to the surgery that I went to the eye doctor I paid $748 for exam, contacts and glasses. When it came time to renew I went to Lasik.
I paid $3200 and four years later am running on cleared profit with no chemicals or solutions to buy. The happiness and convenience I gained is Priceless.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.
