OT: Just Arrived Home From the Mets Game (They Won!)

Reminder: Be sure to participate in the current giveaway!

It has been a long day. While my coworkers were taking me out to lunch to celebrate my recently received Master’s degree, my girlfriend called to tell me she had an extra ticket for the Mets division series game. I don’t pass up opportunities like these, and I’m glad I went tonight; it was a fun game with a great crowd.

I managed not to spend too much money, but those concessions are very expensive. As I had to leave work a little early to get to the game on time, I didn’t have a chance to eat a proper dinner. A hot dog, chicken fingers, fries and a bottle of water start to look good when that is the situation.

We also have tickets to Monday’s game, the fifth and final in the series, if it is to be played. I think the series might not last five games.

You lucky dog! I don’t think the chances of the Mets taking it all is very high with Pedro and El Duque out but yesterday was a strong showing.

The Mets look pretty good this season. But the series aren’t over yet as Dodgers have beaten Mets a couple of times in LA. Good thing is the last game will be in NY. With all the injuries, not sure how far Mets can go.
