I wish there were more subprime loans in my area – then I might be able to afford to buy a home from a desperate seller. Homes here on the central coast of California are still selling for more than 20 times the average annual salary.
I’m waiting for a surge of desperate sellers here, too. With all the media attention to subprime lending, you’d think I’d see more foreclosures around here.
