Weekend Spending Update

It’s been a busy weekend. On the entertainment front, I caught Spider-Man 3 with some good friends I don’t get to see very often. It was good, but not spectacular. The tickets cost $10.25 including the $1 “convenience fee” for ordering them in advance online. It was a good thing I did, they show was sold out. We also went out to eat earlier that night, but it neither fancy nor expensive.

I used some coupons to get a nice discount on already marked-down clothing at Kohl’s and Gap. I picked up some nice shirts, all perfect for work and for the weekend.

To continue my quest to decide what to do when my lease is up in June, I visited some apartments. I didn’t see anything good until I made some unscheduled visits in the Franklin Park area. They were expensive (but less than mortgage payments plus maintenance and taxes for a similar quality house or condominium) but the best I’ve seen. I have some more options to visit this week which may be just as nice and a little less expensive.

There was no spending while visiting apartments, but I figured it was worth noting anyway.
