Weekly Blog Roundup: Minimum Wage, Life Insurance, and Milk

Here are some articles I’ve enjoyed this week from the MoneyBlogNetwork and beyond.

Commentary on What Minimum Wage Would Buy. Mighty Bargain Hunter approves of the minimum wage hike and hopes business can deal with the change.

Save Money on Life Insurance by Paying Annually. Five Cent Nickel’s title to this article summarized the concept succinctly.

What’s the Best Way to Calculate Net Worth? Free Money Finance analyzes responses from visitors regarding the net worth calculation, a topic which I covered recently.

Is Organic Milk Worth the Cost? JLP from AllFinancialMatters wonders if the benefits of organic milk are hype or substance. I am lactose intolerant and don’t drink milk. When I use this inhuman substance for cooking, I use Lactaid brand, which lasts a long time before spoiling but tastes a little sweeter than “normal” milk.

How Big is our 401(k) Balance? Jim from Blueprint for Financial Prosperity wants readers to whip out their statements and lay them on the table to compare.

Free Summer Movies for Kids. Raising4Boys has a list of cinema companies and their summer special offers for when your kids are sick of the heat.

But wait, there’s more!
