My girlfriend is an elementary school teacher in the New York City public school system. Other than this meaning she earns more money for her day job than I do from mine, it also means that time this weekend is set aside for creating report cards for her students.

And that means you’re mostly on your own this weekend, right? When I lived at home and my mom was doing a marathon grading/reporting session, I was pretty much not to other her – though my dad and I were expected to be available in case she needed something!
CFO: I’ll be lending my assistance with the written comments to parents thanks to my “gift” for editing and proofreading, which are not apparent at all on this blog. And oh yes, I will be available to supply the drinks and medications when she gets flustered. She has some unruly students this year.
