Chase is still offering $100 to new account holders who can find a coupon code. I get these in the mail every so often, and I don’t plan on using mine. It expires on September 30, so it must be used fast.
There is a catch. In order to receive the $100 bonus, you must:
- Open a new checking account at a Chase branch with a minimum deposit of $100
- The opening deposit must not come from another Chase account
- To avoid a monthly service fee, you must have a direct deposit or use your debit card for purchases more than five times each month
Meet the criteria and the bonus will be credited to your account within 10 days. As I understand it, each coupon code is unique and may only be used once. The first person to use this code will earn the $100, and I would assume that anyone else who tries to use the same code will be out of luck. Here is the coupon code:
