Your list is very hit or miss. First off, don’t come between a woman and her chocolate. Definitely don’t make your own porn — how many people have regretted this when an ex posted it for the world to see? In between clothes and nudity are either frumpy undergarments or sexy lingerie. I think most people (or at least most men) enjoy a good seductive strip tease en route to nudity.

Have an indoor picnic as well is another frugal idea. No reason to go crazy for a made up holiday. Can easily have romantic nights any other night when prices are less.

i’d like to make a pitch not only for making your own porn, but for renting or buying porn at sex-positive and women-positive stores that often stock women-made films that are sex-positive and fun. or buying some fun new sex toy(s) to try out, that could be another great gift (not just on v-day, either).

Okay, I’m sure I’m being slow but, how does lingerie support terrorism? From a female point of view, wearing pretty, sexy lingerie makes a lot of us feel sexier. MIght be worth your money guys!

Another female tip – doing ANYTHING that shows you remembered it was Valentine’s Day and made an effort will earn you serious points, regardless of actual monetary value!

Don’t forget that making your own adult videos may have a cost down the road if they’re not destroyed. Not for people who might seek public office someday, for instance. Or for people like my husband, whose teaching career might be damaged if someone found it.
