Last July, I offered an invitation for personal finance bloggers who wanted to move away from Blogger and BlogSpot, which was highly unreliable at the time, to WordPress. At the time, I was only able to open the opportunity to five individuals. I have a new offer for free WordPress hosting that might interest new bloggers, and I can offer it to potentially hundreds of people.
I set up an instance of multi-user WordPress on a new domain. By signing up for the service, it’s very simple to set up a new blog or import your entries from another hosting service such as Blogger.
Take a look at the new service over at mypfblogs.com where I’ve written about the features and limitations. And in case you’re wondering, you don’t have to be a current user of Blogger or BlogSpot to join in on the fun.

This looks like a good idea. I hope it does bring the community closer together.
As I’ve said before, my agreement with my employer makes it inappropriate for me to monetize my blog. So even “unobtrustive” AdSense coding is probably not going to work for me (although I understand your reasons for including it).
I wish much luck to the people who sign up for this. And I’d suggest that you offer some sort of theme preview for those bloggers who would do so.
Wow koodoos on the idea thats awesome! Pretty funny it took this long for a PF blog network to be started on a large scale, however it could be a turning point. Just this if you could get a massive multi thousand user force of PF bloggers you could potentially move financial mountains with just a single post or mass network ad!
