Honda Civic 2006 Redesign

This article was written by in Uncategorized. 4 comments.

I drive a 2004 Honda Civic, but the new 2006 models look rather nice. I won’t be upgrading any time soon, but take a look at the new dashboard. Me like shiny lights.

Our test car came with a very smooth automatic, but we’d prefer the manual for an extra measure of power. Fuel economy is rated at 30 to 40 miles per gallon depending on the model selected… For those who really want to tweak the oil companies, however, we should note that the Civil [sic] Hybrid returns with estimated gas mileage of 50 mpg. You may not hit that level in your daily drive, but you will get good enough mileage figures to brag around the coffee pot at work.

yup I drive the same generation Civic as you.. although its a 2001 model. The 7thgen generation Civic, unforutnately wasnt that hot.. they went too mainstream with it. The new ones are pretty nice though. The Si is now back in the Coupe format, and the interrior is defintiely nicer. Navigation is also available as an option.

you can check out more pics at honda’s site.. they got the new site up now.

I dont think I’ll upgrade too, even though the new model is nicer (though running on same chassis).. They stop being an econobox in our generation. The price is just sorta too much for a fully packed Civic.

It looks like they’re trying to reach the Scion crowd with this design.
