I’ve mentioned previously my disdain for the social networking monster that is MySpace, but it turns out that it’s not just for kiddies and awful bands anymore. According to CNN, Some entrepreneurs are using MySpace to market their small businesses, and those who tailor their business to the MySpace clientelle are succeeding.
I am starting a new project this week that I believe has great potential, and MySpace will be one avenue I think is perfect for marketing the idea.
The CNN article warns that the owner of MySpace, Rupert Murdoch and his News Corp, are looking for new ways to monetize MySpace which may end up making the site less inviting for small business owners.
