Today, Giveaway May at Consumerism Commentary continues. In addition to a $50 Amazon.com Gift Card from Consumerism Commentary, today’s winner will also receive a Roku HD Streaming Player from Money Cone.

Money Cone is a personal finance and investing “howto” blog, and the blog’s owner has graciously offered to sponsor today’s giveaway.

Here is what you need to do to win.

  1. Subscribe to the Consumerism Commentary RSS feed using your favorite RSS reader. You can use these buttons to add Consumerism Commentary directly into your favorite software, and if you’re already a subscriber, you can skip this step.
  2. Subscribe to the Money Cone RSS feed using your favorite RSS reader. You can use these buttons, and if you’re already a subscriber, you can skip this step.
  3. Look for the phrases of the day at the end (or at the beginning) of the latest articles in your RSS reader. There will be one phrase from Consumerism Commentary and a different phrase from Money Cone.
  4. Email both phrases of the day to may13@consumerismcommentary.com by 10:00 PM Eastern Time Sunday, May 15, 2011.

If you win, you’ll need to meet all the conditions outlined in the Giveaway May introduction. Good luck! Note: Due to some technical difficulties early Friday morning, I’ve extended the giveaway period for the rest of the weekend.

Finding the comment on CC was an easy feat. Finding it on MC was guess work.

Twice I’ve tried that email address (first time typing, second time copy/paste) and twice it’s been kicked back as undeliverable?

Email works for me just fine? Fine by me if it works for no one else – that means I’ll win! :)

Closing these so early really hurt West Coast people – I just now get to check the computer!

I agree with Thomas above. I am out of Cali and have this issue as well. I was actually the first person to comment today but only because I was up extremely late and able to participate in the “next days” contest. I only completed half of the challenge as I subscribed to the feeds but could not find one of the phrase of the days. I put it on a shelf for awhile to resume my day. As life does..the day was filled with issues and things that needed attention and took up time, and plain hectic life itself. With business and transit not even to mention family, I just now got back to this, yet, even though it is just 8:00pm here it is already over and I am unable to email my phrases in. This is surely a dilemma.

Flexo, perhaps you could have the first giveaway post set to roll at midnight (eastern or pacific time is fine by me). That might give us on the West coast better chances to enter as we can still be up.

For those watching the comments here and perhaps missing the opportunity to enter, I’ve extended the giveaway period until 10:00 PM Eastern time on Sunday. If you haven’t entered yet, there is still a chance.

Thanks!

Thanks. Those on the West Coast that missed entering, or now just thought they missed out, thank you.
