Now that I set my financial goals for 2008, I have to start taking steps to achieve them. This is only the second year I’ve set goals like this for myself, and after good results last year, I’m feeling confident. Do you set goals for yourself? Feel free to share them within the comments, particularly if you have your own blog and have written about your 2008 goals. Feel free to include your link in the comments below.

I set a personal goal to lose 30 lbs and have spent the last few days helping my readers to set a goal of proper budgeting for this year. http://www.savingfreak.com/?p=124
I set my goals up for this year, as it’s my first time doing so. It’ll be interesting to see how we do if we end up having our first kid.

I wrote out my goals a week ago, but now that it’s 2008 I’m having second thoughts, especially because the “stretch” goals don’t seem as doable as they did when I wrote them. Still, I’ll give it the ol’ college try.

I set some financial goals for 2008, too. I’ve never done this before, so I’m hoping that these goals will help me stay on track.

My financial goal for 2008 is in the continuation of a longer-term goal I set myself for 2012.

Set mine up in mid-December. Some are going to be significantly more difficult to meet than others.

I posted mine yesterday, too. These are just the financial ones, though. I didn’t include the perennial “lose ten pounds” in the list itself!

Thanks for the mention!
Thanks for the shout out!
I wrote up my goals a few weeks ago since I was going on vacation at the end of 2007. I’m already kind of rethinking them but:

I’ve started off with my first month’s goal, which pertains to blog monetization. http://www.mrsmicah.com/2008/01/01/a-goal-for-the-first-month-of-the-new-year/
Here’s mine for 2008:

Flexo, you have some impressive goals listed for yourself! I’m especially impressed with your charitable contribution goals and goal for your side businesses. The best of luck in reaching those! Thanks for sharing your goals and allowing others to do the same.
For those not aware, there is a gathering of about 50 financial goals listed in this month’s Carnival of Financial Goals, hosted at Being Frugal. Now is a great time to submit to next month’s CoFG. You should include your goals in the CoFG as well – I think a lot of people would be impressed with them! Thanks, and best of luck to you in ’08!
I have a ton of financial goals for the year. They’re at http://www.bluntmoney.com/its-time-for-some-2008-financial-goals/
My biggest goal is to become debt-free. My others are:
