Very shortly, you will begin to see some posts and articles written by a new individual at Consumerism Commentary. Please welcome Sasha to Consumerism Commentary as a regular contributor. From Sasha’s bio:
I’m a young thirtysomething Masters degree holder and outdoor buff, employed within the new media industry. A frequent personal blogger in the nineties, I’ve recently retreated somewhat more behind the scenes. My portfolio includes savings and other monetary investments, and along with my partner, I own and manage six residential rental units.
Beyond working towards financial goals, I believe that it is possible to maintain an “ethical” budget, and endeavor to support the causes and organizations I believe in through more conscious spending practices.
Sasha has some old-school blogging experience like myself, and also like myself, has discovered an interest in finances unrelated to experiences in formal higher education. Sasha’s articles will begin with a series on investing in residential rental properties from personal experience and will continue from there.

Is Sasha a man or a woman? I have friends in Russia that are named Sasha, one a man and one a woman, so I’m curious. ;-)
The gender guesser guesses male.
Welcome Sasha, look forward to your posts!
