For future reference, the best book I've ever read on negotiating is Roger Dawson's "Secrets of Power Negotiating". It's saved me thousands of dollars over the years (probably over $4,000 just on the last house I bought alone), and I see myself using something from the book almost avery month or so. It's also an easy (and often pretty funny) read, and can be found on Amazon for less than $15. Good luck!
