Nikkei crashes

I was just about to go to sleep when I noticed the Nikkei crashed 4 percent and trading was suspended. All of the Asian markets seem to be affected. Tomorrow will be an interesting day for stocks.

The big yikes for me came when Yahoo didn’t live up to expectations causing Google to drop double digits. I’m still up huge from when I bought it a while ago, but I can’t help but feel like a pig on days like these!

But, i’m sticking to my plan to hold it until it reports earnings. Wish me luck!

I heard about this on BBC radio last night. It’s a good way to get world news. The main thing causing the run was a company called InsideDoor or something like that. The tech stock was being investigated and I guess the drop in its prices was making margin calls and so ppl were dumping their porfolios to cover the calls.
