Notice the emphasis on bluray and multiple hdtv output.
The consols are trying to become the media integration hub of our family rooms / living rooms.
have a wonderful day,

I would totally be awesome at Mortal Kombat: Iron Chef.

I'd like, perform a fatality on some cabbage.

The PS3 has a similar feature with its controller... it mentions it in the article. Crazy Japanese cooking games? It sounds like a joke, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Mortal Kombat: Iron Chef or something.

I'll likely skip the PS3 myself, but Nintendo's upcoming Wii, which will probably be priced at around $200-250, will revolutionize videogames. It'll have a controller that you can move around to perform actions in game--swing it like a bat in baseball games, slash it like a sword in Zelda games... even hold it like a spatula in those crazy Japanese cooking games.
