Real estate investing guru Robert Kiyosaki and real estate millionaire Donald Trump have teamed up to write a new book, Why We Want You to be Rich. With Kiyosaki’s cult following and Trump’s popularity, it’s sure to be a hit. Will you be buying the book or skipping this one?
Personally, it’s likely I’ll pass. From what I’ve seen, you can get as much from the hardcover jacket of a Kiyosaki book as you can from the contents. He’s big on ideas, but short on substance and support, and in some cases just plain wrong according to other experts. Some people might enjoy his ability to motivate, but it’s not what I look for in a book.
I’ve never read a book by Donald Trump, but considering he has filed for bankruptcy several times, I think I’ll be looking elsewhere for financial education.

Now there’s a pair to draw too…
I’ve read books from both; it’s a definite pass for me. Trump’s ego must need a little stoking to put himself next to Kiyosaki.
