Luke Landes’s experience with building online communities dates back to 1990, and he has been writing for the web since 1994. In 2003, he began improving his own personal finances and his online writing has focused on this topic since that time. Consumerism Commentary allows Luke, who for many years has written semi-anonymously under the name Flexo, to share news about the economy, personal finance, and consumer habits. The website also provides an opportunity for Luke to share his own personal stories and financial updates.

Outside of Consumerism Commentary, Luke enjoys photography, and spends any left over time not committed to writing pursuing improvement of photography skills. He is also interested in genealogical research. With a bachelor’s degree in music education, a master’s degree in business, a passion for personal finance, and an interest in photography, he’s always seeking ways to combine his skills and interests. Luke has also been a fan of the long-running British television program Doctor Who since the 1980s.

Luke has contributed original articles to PC World Magazine, US News, Currency from American Express, and other publications. He resides in central New Jersey.

Jay Frosting is an all-around, genre-agnostic content creator. He has been producing his own podcast and video for several years. In addition to his experience with audio and video production, Jay is also a photographer. Jay is at home whether behind or in front of the camera or microphone, with experience as a stand-up comedian and an improv comedy performer.
