Pumpkin pie, though it certainly appeals to many, is not my favorite. However, I have made the Pumpkin Crunch Torte recipe here: http://www.observernews.com/stories/current/news/101306/recipebox101306.shtml with great success. It is crazy-good, and I feel somewhat remiss for not listing the recipe above, but I just found it again. You can substitute an equal amount of fresh pumpkin for the canned stuff.

Consider it Intro to Pumpkin Desserts.

Important question.

Does pumpkin pie taste really good? I've never eaten it, but I'm thinking of making it. I need assurances that it truly is delicious.
