Philly can be a terribly expensive airport to fly from. My husband is from around there, and sometimes it made more sense to drive to the airport at Baltimore (or even Atlantic City!) than to fly from Philly. That’s not bad. I have good inlaws, so it's no hardship, but a nice stiff breeze off the Pacific Ocean would do wonders for my mood right about now. PS.
