That's not bad. Philly can be a terribly expensive airport to fly from. My husband is from around there, and sometimes it made more sense to drive to the airport at Baltimore (or even Atlantic City!) than to fly from Philly.

Just under $400 for Philadelphia to Los Angeles. It wasn't the route I wanted to take, but it's close enough.

So how much did you spend? I was pleased to find a roundtrip on Southwest for $250, from Virginia to Missouri.

Have fun in California!

Sigh. I wish I was also going home to Cali. Instead I'll be going to Boston to eat with my inlaws. I have good inlaws, so it's no hardship, but a nice stiff breeze off the Pacific Ocean would do wonders for my mood right about now.

PS. See if Philadelphia ground control can manage to foul up your flight for you. It's notoriously bad.
