It’s another week in May, so it’s the start of another week of giveaways. This month, Consumerism Commentary has embarked on a project I am calling Giveaway May. Every weekday, I will be giving away at least a $50 gift card, and most days I will have a partner or sponsor to help enhance the prize.
Today, I’ve teamed up with Donna Freedman from Surviving and Thriving and MSN Money. Donna also writes for Get Rich Slowly and has been a guest on the Consumerism Commentary Podcast twice. Donna had a great idea. With the Memorial Day weekend approaching — as well as summer vacations — many people are preparing for travel. That often entails buying gasoline for fueling cars as families and individuals plan to move from point A to point B and back again. The cost of gas is high this year, so a $50 gift card for gas, while it won’t go as far as it would have gone a few years ago, will still go far to help anyone afford their summer travels.
In addition to the $50 gas gift card from Donna, today’s winner will also receive a $50 Amazon.com Gift Card from Consumerism Commentary. In order to be entered in this giveaway, you’ll need to complete the following by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Monday, May 23, 2011. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Subscribe to the Consumerism Commentary RSS feed using your favorite RSS reader. You can use these buttons to add Consumerism Commentary directly into your favorite software, and if you’re already a subscriber, you can skip this step.
- Subscribe to the Surviving and Thriving RSS feed using your favorite RSS reader. You can use these buttons, and if you’re already a subscriber, you can skip this step.
- Send an email to email@example.com confirming you’ve subscribed to both feeds or leave a comment here by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Monday, May 23, 2011.
If you win, you’ll need to meet all the conditions outlined in the Giveaway May introduction. Good luck!
